Mark Boos

Founder Mark Boos started YG Recruiting when he realized his background in team management, strategic planning, and sales revenue growth would be a solid foundation for a new approach to recruiting and staffing.

Clients benefit from Mark’s mastery of and passion for various aspects and outcomes of exceptional recruiting – from right-fit start-up staffing and improved small business culture to better marketing and advertising, and from brand enhancement and promotion to innovative idea development.

Whether your talent needs are in the areas of guerrilla marketing, client acquisition, business development, or better lead conversion – or any combination of some/all of those – Mark will work with you to make it happen. He understands how time is of the essence when recruiting talent, and he ensures quality candidates are identified quickly and that they are well vetted.

In Mark’s spare time, you’ll find him noodling on his guitar, a relatively new interest that he recently added to his well-honed drum skills. He likes both playing and listening to rock music (RIP, Eddie Van Halen).

He’s also a history buff and enjoys watching history documentaries and traveling to historically significant locales. And, just ask him about his passion for car racing!

Mark holds a BA in political science from Drew University.

Adam Berkowitz

YG Recruiting President of Business Development Adam Berkowitz’s more than 17 years as a business leader and business development executive has built his strong understanding of sales and revenue generation functions. His experience in the recruitment advertising and job board industry at Nexxt – combined with his strong belief that success builds on what you learn and how you creatively leverage it – provides a fresh perspective to help lead YG Recruiting to become a key player in the recruitment and talent management arena.

Adam’s belief in a thoughtful approach to client relationships and new business development strongly influenced the development of YG Recruiting's goal to deliver an exceptional customer experience while advancing clients’ talent objectives.

Outside YG Recruiting, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, grilling (baby back ribs, baby!), golfing, playing fantasy football (he’s a three-time league champion), and testing his general trivia knowledge. Plus, he can quote almost entire scripts of The West Wing, The Sopranos, and Breaking Bad. He almost always has a podcast streaming, with topics as varied as New York sports to personal growth to leadership strategies.

Adam holds a BA in political science from Binghamton University and an MBA in communications and media management from Fordham University.
